About Dr. Mark

Dr. Mark was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicagoland and moved to Wisconsin in his teenage years.  He spent four years at Marquette where he came to be a huge MU hoops fan.  You'll find him at the Bradley Center all winter at his season tickets, usually with one of his kids.  After a stint in Madison in medical school, he came back to Milwaukee to do his residency training in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

After a brief stint in West Bend practicing pediatrics, he joined Dr. Haworth at Elmbrook Pediatrics, where he has been in practice since 1999.

Dr. Mark is a very proud father of two daughters, Emma and Grace.  He remains very active in the community and with his girls, who both love tons of sports and keep him constantly busy.

Dr. Mark is also an avid golfer; as long as there isn't snow on the ground, he's probably trying to find a way to play!  On a sad note, while Dr. Mark has been in Wisconsin a long time, his heart still belongs to the Cubs and Bears from his childhood days in Chicago.  Sorry, Packers and Brewers fans!

Why Dr. Mark became a Pediatrician

Ever since he was a child, he talked about becoming a doctor, especially with his interest in science.  After a few rotations in medical school, it became obvious that his true joy was in pediatrics, taking care of children, watching and helping them grow up to be happy and healthy tens and adults.  He loves being nearby in the Brookfield community around and amongst his patients and families.  If you see him at soccer, church, or the parks, he loves for his patients to come and say hi to him; that's part of the joy of pediatrics!
