About Dr. Carl

Dr. Carl was born and raised in New Jersey where his extended family still lives.  After graduation from high school he went to school at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.  After four great years at Wake he moved to Milwaukee to attend the Medical College of Wisconsin and then stayed here to pursue training in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.  While in residency he met his future wife Sara who is still a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at CHW.  After residency Dr. Carl joined Dr. Mark and Dr. Haworth at Elmbrook Pediatrics and has been practicing here ever since.  In 2007 Dr. Carl and his wife celebrated the birth of their first child.  In 2009 his family grew with the birth of a precious little girl and then in 2011 they added another son to the mix.  Dr. Carl and his family currently live in Pewaukee and active in the community through his children's sports and activities.  He is also a parishioner at St. Dominics Catholic Parish in Brookfield.

Why Dr. Carl became a Pediatrician

Dr. Carl was always interested in science growing up and medicine was an obvious fit after college.  It was in medical school that pediatrics became his focus.  He learned quickly that children are not little adults and needed special care.  For him taking care of children has always been highly rewarding and more importantly fun.  He loves his days at work mostly because of his patients and all fun things they do and say.
